UVM/GLION Gastronomy show 2010

Mexican students of Gastronomy and Tourism of the GLION/UVM Campus Toluca of the 5th semester will work on a project that will display several examples of national traditional dishes through a Gastronomy event in November 2010.

The event was also concieved as part of the commemoration of the Bicentenary of Mexican Independence and the Centenary of the Mexican Revolution.

During the elaboration of this project, the students will determine the origin, ingredients, preparation and will explain the procedure and where the meal is eaten.

This project intends to introduce the Mexican food, as a cultural factor to contribute with the conservation of traditions of Mexico.


This way, the students will have the opportunity to interact by uploading their recipes, photos and anecdotes in the elaboration of this project.

PROCEDURE OF THE PROJECT

First Term

As students you will be given the generalities of the project. You will have to elaborate a banquet for 300 people on late November 2010.
